Since last summer, we have been dealing with an increasing number of investment files and what really matters is that #PentaDelivery actually takes place. The result? Many of our startups are already releasing new products or improving existing features. This includes a high number of mobile applications striving to constantly improve user experience and take it to the next level.
The smartshow application was available only in iOS version until now. But this didn’t stop it from reaching 1 million downloads in the last quarter of 2015 and teaming up with Facebook to make smartshows directly accessible on its timeline.
After UX became stable, the only thing this startup needed was to convert its demo version to the Android and increase the number of downloads. This version was released in Beta mode at the end of December, and tested during January. Now, it is officially launched.
Same scenario for Citygoo: the proximity carpooling application was initially released only in iOS version. This allowed them to improve user experience but also develop various user acquisition strategies.
The Android Beta version was released in December and continuously adjusted for a month before the official launch. This version transformed the acquisition strategy and occasioned an interesting CoCA evolution.
Our long-distance ride service startup already had driver mobile applications to enhance communication but their old client applications (only in iOS) had little value. What they needed to do was to improve user experience by placing PickmeCab in every client’s pockets. This tool is perfectly suited for increasing client acquisition, building loyalty and raising brand awareness.
The new client applications are already developed on both iOS and Android. The Beta phase is over and we already have a great number of downloads: we also need to equip the current clients for making it easier for them to book drivers rather than offering this possibility to every new client. This way, the channels remain adapted to each device used: phone, website or mobile application.
The community animation tool underwent a small revolution. The founders first chose to change the graphical map. Then, we worked hard to release the new SaaS application store, now online: the challenge is to generate many online leads but also act as a showcase for all use cases allowed by this tool. On the same page, we were able to deliver the “Identify the contestants” feature: the unique feature that saves the life of many Community Managers that organize online contests and seek to avoid overriding professional contestants.
We were able to offer our consulting services on Digital Marketing approaches and implement new business strategies, particularly by opening a 3-month trial sales cycle outside France: the first results will be made public at the end of March, which will allow us to launch the second trial cycle in the United States.
The sharing economy comparator had to work on a new design, a new user experience and improve SEO and Social Media: said and done!
As far as development is concerned, we already implemented the new design and ergonomics, while new features are already in internal Beta Testing version. In terms of acquisition strategy, several Social Networks tests coupled with the SEO optimization of several pages enabled us to stabilize the CoCA at an interesting RPC comparison level. These tests have already proved their efficiency as they have heavily increased traffic. What remains to be done is to boost our efforts and add our SEA tests that we will run shortly.
#PentaDelivery is running at full speed to the benefit of our startupers and their business. While waiting for news on the delivery topic, we can tell you that a new startup has just entered our #PentaGalaxy!
