Teleport, the Swiss-American startup specialized in the creation of interactive and dynamic videos, has chosen Pentalabbs and Pentalog Software Factory for their IT for Equity offer. Here are the details of our partnership 🙂
Increased interactivity for more engaging videos
Watching videos is, more often than not, a passive activity. But what would you say about being able to interact when visiting an apartment, taking a course or wandering in a real store? Teleport has turned it into reality.
Already launched, the platform allows you to transform your video in just a few minutes and give it a serious boost. All you have to do is to:
– upload the video,
– create the stop, possible engagement, purchase and contextual content points along the video,
– and finally send it to your users in a cross-platform mode.
The result? An instant amazing user experience and feedback. According to statistics, users stay 10 times longer on this type of video than on regular videos! For the first time, they are able to navigate within the video!
Founded in Lausanne, Teleport is made up of a little agile team lead by Gavrilo, who soon helped them generate a sales figure. Already spotted by 500 Startups, they have also conquered the United States, being selected to participate in Mountain View startup accelerator’s latest batch.
IT for Equity
As the topic is exclusively technical in nature, we have been assisting them with a technical team of 2 Front-End developers.
Already fully equipped to develop their technology, our support came at the right moment: the industrialization of their technology.
The investment is modest but can grow during the next founding rounds. Not to mention that this is our first investment in a startup that is half Swiss, half American.
The Pentalog platform
We have already started to notice different connections on the Pentalog platform.
First of all, with the Pentalog Software Factory’s client e-commerce startups that wish to improve their online purchase experience by integrating a form of augmented reality. This also stands for e-learning fields.
Secondly, this unique product and brand promotion tool could be used by RevSquare for its clients’ marketing communication strategies.
Last but not least, one of our startups, Aktan, for instance, can also make use of Teleport’s technology for their idea or service prototyping workshops.
